Cow mats

A dairy floor is wet for most of its working life. Our cow mats are vulcanised solid rubber with a diamond or grooved top for grip and a studded base that lets liquid leave the slab instead of pooling under the mat. Laid tight, they cut lameness and take the ring out of a concrete lane.

1. 01Constant slurry, wash-water and disinfectant — the compound cannot swell or go slick.
2. 02Point load from a 700 kg animal standing on one hoof edge.
3. 03Scraper passes twice a day dragging across the mat edge.
4. 04Cut-to-fit around stall dividers, kerbs and drainage channels.
